Guarantees and letters of credit


Union Banka issues all types of guarantees, in the way, under terms and with criteria that also apply to loans.

The Bank issues nostro guarantees , as follows: performance guarantees with coverage and with other security, super-guarantees, payment guarantees for commercial operations with coverage and other security, and changes guarantee terms. The fee ranges between 0.3% and 0.8% per quarter, which depends on the type of guarantee, the risk and quality of coverage.

For loro guarantees , the Bank conducts notification without obligations, forwards guarantee letters, confirms, changes guarantee terms, and receives documents. The fee is 0.2% and as agreed, which depends on the type of service.

Union Banka issues domestic guarantees for participation in bidding processes, for return of advance payment, for payment of customs and import duties, for good performance, for repayment of a loan, and other types of guarantees. The fee ranges between 0.4% and 0.5% per quarter, which depends on the type of guarantee, the risk and quality of coverage.

The Bank opens letters of credit for import (nostro) and export (loro). The fee ranges between 0.1% and 0.5%, which depends on the type or service and type of coverage for the letter of credit.
